Iron Workers

IMPACT

About Iron Workers Local 372

Reinforcing Concrete Ironworkers unload, place, and tie reinforcing steel in bridges, parking garages, airports, waste water treatment plants, stadiums, and power plants. We are starting to get the work back on schools, shopping centers, and residential construction.

Placing and tying reinforcing steel is very active and strenuous work. (we like to think of ourselves as Industrial Athletes). This type of work involves carrying rebar from point A to B with prolonged bending  ( as if you were bent over tying your shoes all day) in all types of weather conditions. Most of our work is done on the ground, but there are jobs where heights are a factor.
